    Avanza en Inglés

    Client: Avanza en Inglés

Avanza En Ingles is an online English teaching website for the Spanish market. Running on Exintra Social, with a built-in Learning Management System, it shares the interactive courses and language learning materials with All in English via a common database.

Learners can improve their English through interactive video courses, games, exercises and multimedia, as well as through interaction with other learners using the collaboration and communication tools.

The learning sites on the shared database are independent in terms of subscribers and pages, and can be managed independently, but we can update content and add new learning materials to both sites simultaneously.

Elements such as the forums, news and general pages are part of the standard Exintra platform. The developments we've made for the Exintra Social platform add Facebook-like functions to the CMS so that users can run their own blogs, friends lists, internal mail system and chat sessions. They can also use the built-in Instant Messenger tools to chat to other site users and even play games with them.

The Learning Management System that also sits within this version of Exintra runs the interactive video courses and the language exercises that develop learning through various exercise formats including multiple choice and gap fill, alongside audio, video and flash components.

Users don't have to rely on the published learning content though - all levels can create interactive exercises and send them to their contacts, whilst teachers and administrators can send them to groups of users or add them to courses in a way that makes this a fantastic tool for collaborative learning in all sorts of environments.
