Interactive Materials Creation Interactivity is a crucial part of e-learning because most people learn by doing. One of the great failures of a lot of e-learning content is the fact that multiple choice selection in text exercises is often presumed to be an appropriate interactive response to learning modules, when in fact it might not offer the opportunity for users to do anything directly related to their subject.Careful analysis of learning and training outcomes is therefore crucial to interactive materials creation, and this is something Cambridge Digital brings a great deal of teaching experience to, as well as digital production experience. We therefore build interactive materials that use graphics and animation, audio and video stimulus and user responses. Recording an audio response to something can provide enormous opportunities for development, and also tell an assessor far more about a user’s real abilities than tick or text responses. We therefore look at the whole process, including training platform development and the role of trainers and assessors, when we design and build interactive materials. |

A key area for content creation for us has been in producing software training, sometimes in conjunction with professional development training and assessment programs.
