• Can't see the videos: File types [11/01/2009]
Problem: When you try and open the videos, you just see a black screen.Reason: The videos run in the flv format as they are embedded in the Flash interface. Recent changes to the way that Windows and Adobe handle flv files means that they won't run over a network that uses a UNC share. Solution: The application needs to be set up on a mapped drive, as instructed in the installation instructions. *** New solution: September 2009: wmv videos and an amended code-set are now available for existing users of the application. Please contact Pearson support on 0845 313 888 for your copy. *** For new customers, there is an option to select the wmv video for UNC share set-ups on installation. |
