ICT 4 Life Support FAQ
• “This title does not belong to the course.” error: Administration setup [11/01/2009]
Problem: Following installation to a shared folder/mapped drive, you run the .exe shortcut on the workstation then attempt to setup the shared folder/school name and reset the password for admin. You get an error saying “This title does not belong to the course.”
Solution: The file ICT 4 Life ActiveTeach 2_ICT for Life 2.xml is missing from the application folder. It is included in the msi, but is otherwise written during the installation process. Bizarrely, a combination of actions appears to be able to delete it from the application folder while you’re working in the folder on a network. This has been observed, but doesn’t seem to be replicable. The simple solution is to replace the file, copying it from the msi or another installation. It can also be provided from the support team at digital.support [@] pearson.com
