    Web Search

The web search module allows users to search the web using major search engines such as Google and Yahoo.

    1. Click on the blue ‘Architecture’ button in the Exintra Panel at the top of the page. Then, click on the ‘Create Module’ button. Finally, select ‘Web Search’ from the list.

    2. Give your module a title by filling in the ‘Title’ field. Give it a name by filling in the ‘Name’ field. In the ‘Search Settings’ dialog, check the checkboxes of all the search engines you want your web search module to use. Then, click on ‘Save’ at the bottom left of the page to save the changes.

    3. Now, click on ‘Advanced’ to open the advanced tab. Select a search engine from the ‘Select engine’ dropdown. Select the number of search items for the module to display from the ‘Items Display’ dropdown menu. If you want the module to open the results on site, check the ‘Open on site’ checkbox. If you want the module to keep the last search, check the ‘Keep last search’ checkbox. Finally, click on ‘Save’ to save the changes.
