    Picture Gallery

Use the picture gallery module to create galleries of images that can be browsed by your site users. You can split up pictures into as many galleries as you require.

    1. Click on the blue ‘Architecture’ button in the Exintra Panel at the top of the page. Then, click on the ‘Create Module’ button. Finally, select ‘Picture Gallery’ from the list.

    2. Give your module a title and name by filling in the ‘Title’ and ‘Name’ fields.

    3. Scroll down the page. You can select whether to upload images from your computer or to use a Flickr photo feed by selecting from the ‘Feed source’ dropdown menu.

    4. If you choose ‘Flickr Photos’ as the feed source, fill in the ‘User’s IDs’ and ‘Tags’ fields. The ‘User’s IDs’ is a list of Flickr users to fetch photos from. Separate each user using a comma. The ‘Tags’ field is used to filter the feed by keyword. Again, separate each word with a comma.

    5. If you choose ‘Upload Photos’ as the feed source, first specify the width and height for the thumbnail images that are automatically generated for each photo. Generally, set 50px for width and 50px for height.

You can select whether to show titles under your images by choosing from the ‘Show titles under images’ dropdown menu.

Choose whether to show or hide controls by checking the ‘Hide controls’ checkbox.

After filling in the fields, click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom left of the page.

    6. After saving, click on ‘Add a new album’ (this is located just above the ‘Save’ button). Give the album a title by filling in the ‘Album title’ field. Then, click on ‘Add/Edit photos’.

    7. Click on the dark grey ‘Upload file(s)’ button. A window will appear. Click on ‘Upload’, then browse to and select the photos you require on your computer.

    8. When you have finished uploading your image, close the ‘File Upload’ and ‘Add images’ windows. Click the ‘Enabled’ checkbox to enable the gallery. Then, click the ‘Save’ button again to save the changes.
