Use the blogs module if you want to create and manage blogs on your site. The system will publish blog entries and also keep archives for each user.

    1. Click on the blue ‘Architecture’ button in the Exintra Panel at the top of the page. Then, click on the ‘Create Module’ button. Finally, select ‘Blogs’ from the list.

    2. Give your module a title and name by filling in the ‘Title’ and ‘Name’ fields.

    3. Scroll down the page. You can specify how many blog entries the module displays at once by selecting from the ‘Blogs per page’ dropdown menu. You can also select the blog stream for the module to show by selecting from the ‘Show’ dropdown menu. This is useful if you need to create and display more than one blog on your site.

When you have finished making changes, click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom left of the page.

    4. After saving, add your blogs module to a page. To create a new blog entry, click ‘create a new one’ in the module window.

    5. Now, give your blog post a title by filling in the ‘Post title’ field. If you wish to upload an image for the post, click the ‘Browse’ button to the right of the ‘Post image’ field. When you have browsed to the picture on your computer, press the ‘Upload’ button underneath the ‘Post image’ field.

Enter the content for your blog post using the WYSIWYG editor. For a detailed explanation of how the editor works, please refer to the ‘Content and Links’ tutorial.

    6. When you have finished adding content to your post, scroll down to the bottom of the page. You can select privacy options for your post using the ‘Privacy’ dropdown menu, and select whether comments are public or private by selecting the appropriate radio button. Click the ‘Preview Entry’ button to preview your post, the ‘Save Entry’ to save your post or the ‘Cancel’ button to cancel changes.
