Cambridge Digital has offered a wide range of services including design and authoring, multimedia development, project and production management, and software development to publishers over a number of years.
We are now focusing on building websites and digital assets on our Exintra Website Managment System, and are no longer offering services to publishers.
We continue to support products we've built in the past, including the English Language content, Sherlock Holmes drama scripts and e-learning applications, and we're happy to build e-learning assets and modules for business including animations and interactive content for website delivery.

Client: Cambridge University Press
Project: Online Drawing and Colouring Application
This fun and easy to use application is built onto a management database that allows administrative users to create new drawings and libraries of audio files and illustrations to build language exercises with audio instructions. The flexibility of the application for developing language and learning skills is tremendous, and it’s a lot of fun to use.

Client: EDEXCEL
Project: Course Companion CD-ROM with User Tracking
We designed and built a CD-ROM resource to deliver book content effectively in the digital format. The format we created combines a clear, attractive interface and user-experience. This project moved on to include tracking to allow students to evaluate their progress through the materials, and save their evaluations as a means of marking and driving their own learning.

Client: Longman
Project: Video Production for ICT 4 Life
We produced a number of videos for this Longman CD ROM publication, both for marketing and as part of the CD Rom content. One was of children in a primary school, others simple head-to-camera in different environments and another combined live footage with software video-capture as a developer explained processes involved in creating virtual reality productions.

Client: Pearson Education
Project: CD-ROM Software Demonstrations
We’ve produced several hundred of these for various publications. Some include video, some have voice-overs and some provide testing and assessment of users’ understanding of the processes being demonstrated. We can deliver the demonstrations online, on CD or on DVD and can make them SCORM-compliant to fit in with existing training courses and Content Management Systems or Virtual Learning Environments.

Client: A&C Black
Project: CD-Rom Development
Looks simple, but quite a complex project delivering pdf, Word, PowerPoint and audio files for supply teachers to view and print on both Mac or PC. We also converted pdf documents into Word - retaining the graphics and layout but adding the ability for users to edit the contents. That in itself is a complex process which achieved impressive results!

Client: A&C Black
Project: CD-ROM Development
This is a lovely project building interactive Maths-teaching tools with drawing functions, a calculator and various other very effective functions. It's a great resource and was a chance to show off our ability to deliver these kind of learning experiences, and quite a complex and large-scale project in a very tight time-frame.

Project: CD-Rom Development
This was a project that delivered a lovely-looking and effective product on a very tight budget. They are essentially image banks with teaching notes and a pedagically-defined structure and purpose, all accessed in an easy-to-use and good-looking interface. An example of form and function not having to be compromised by price.
