    Collaborative Learning

Collaborative learning embraces the idea that learners are experts who can share subject-specific knowledge and skills, and also that people learn best from people with whom they share a perspective and purpose, and learn best by doing.Collaborative Learning

Providing a collaborative learning environment can therefore unlock a tremendous resource in an organisation. At Cambridge Digital, we have developed tools that allow learners to author interactive learning exercises and share them with their contacts, groups and the wider learning community, as well as communication tools to allow sharing and collaborative working. It’s a field we’re always interested in, and we would welcome exploring how you can exploit the internal training resources in your learners.

    E-learning - Welcome to Business

Welcome to Business is a site for Business English learners that runs a course called 'Welcome to Business' which is an immersive English course over six levels.

It follows the visit to the UK of a businessman from the US and gives a humorous insight into the communication and language skills required for the context, as well as a tight pedagogical development.

Originally built for Laserdisc, we've put the entire course online, and set it into the collaborative Learning Management System of our Exintra CMS so that students and tutors can interact and collaborate in a rich and effective learning environment.

It's also got rather an all-star cast, with Barbara Thorn, Tamsin Olivier, Jay Benedict and Norman Eshley bringing a great deal of humour and life to the whole affair.
