Viewing Pages
The 'view pages' function will enable you to see all of the pages contained within your website. The pages are presented as a single list (see Sneak Preview for forthcoming improvements to this function) and it's from here that you can edit the content of existing pages in your website.
Page Title This is determined by the browser title you gave the page when creating it. Type The type of page is noted to aid you in updating and organising your website. Order This is the order the pages are presented to you in the 'view pages' list and is determined by the first character. It is a good idea to order the pages in your website following the navigation, for example: If your navigation is as follows: Home | About us | Services | Contact us And 'About us' had 3 sub pages for History, Management Team and Clients; you should order your pages as follows:
You can then order pages associated with homepage modules e.g. Syndicate RSS page for company news to start with '1' and any pages you are working on to start with '5', '6' etc. Enabled, Settings, Remove Click within the 'Enabled' column to activate or deactivate a page. Click on the cog icon under 'Settings' to edit pages and click on the icon under 'Remove' to permenately delete a page from your website. |
