    Blended Learning

    Blended LearningBlended learning involves offering users elements of their studies electronically and elements of them in a live environment with a teacher or coach. Typically the digital platform will provide the core materials distribution point as well as the assessment and communication record for the non-digital elements as well.
     
    Blended learning can very often offer the best solution for training, exploiting the strengths of the personal teaching dynamic and relationship and placing that into a context for recorded progress and assessment. It can also offer a practical and efficient way for teachers and trainers to organise their work in terms of structuring programmes, delivering extension activities and personal learning plans, and in terms of recording interactions and assessments.

    Good e-learning is a great way to deliver measurable training and educational results in a cost effective way, and Cambridge Digital is an experienced creator of content, architecture and platforms for delivering e-learning on CD-ROMs, Virtual Learning Environments, iPhone/iPad/Android and the internet.

    We produce content for publishers and end users in the UK, France and Japan and globally through internet based learning environments, with current projects including maths examination training, English as a Foreign Language training and assessment, business skills training, intercultural business skills training, primary literacy and numeracy materials, and secondary ICT training.

    Online Drawing Application

    This fun and easy to use application is built onto a management database that allows administrative users to create new drawings and libraries of audio files and illustrations to build language exercises with audio instructions. The flexibility of the application for developing language and learning skills is tremendous, and it’s a lot of fun to use.

    E-learning - Welcome to Business

    Welcome to Business is a site for Business English learners that runs a course called 'Welcome to Business' which is an immersive English course over six levels.

    It follows the visit to the UK of a businessman from the US and gives a humorous insight into the communication and language skills required for the context, as well as a tight pedagogical development.

    Originally built for Laserdisc, we've put the entire course online, and set it into the collaborative Learning Management System of our Exintra CMS so that students and tutors can interact and collaborate in a rich and effective learning environment.

    It's also got rather an all-star cast, with Barbara Thorn, Tamsin Olivier, Jay Benedict and Norman Eshley bringing a great deal of humour and life to the whole affair.
