About us
Cambridge Digital is a digital publishing and services company specialising in interface design, educational publishing and the creation of highly interactive, complex web solutions. We have a strong focus on designing from the perspective of the end-user, lead by our work in education and training. We develop CD-ROM and web-based solutions for clients such as A&C Black Publishing (a division of Bloomsbury), Cambridge University Press, Edexcel and Pearson Education, as well as smaller corporate clients.
Much of our work is for specific internal users to a company’s services: we designed and built the interface for Twinings’ internal import/export statistics package, for example, and created websites for author and publishing groups at Cambridge University Press. Other projects have a wider audience: the Course Companion CD-ROMs we designed and developed for the examining company Edexcel are some of their fastest-selling products, and our video-english site, currently being re-developed on our exintra platform, runs to 1200 pages, 150 000 visitors and 4.5 million hits a year from all over the world. We work within companies as well as for companies, and develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients. The surest indication of this is the high level of repeat business we enjoy from our clients, for some of whom we deliver multiple projects each year, ranging from marketing demonstrations to full-scale products and websites.
